Gastroprotective effects are caused by compounds that can protect the gastric mucosa. activity provided plants is due to presence of a group secondary metabolite found in plants. The types flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids and saponins. Chromolaena odorata L. contains phenols, saponins steroids, while Pachyrhizus erosus known contain flavonoids This study aimed determine gasprotective combination extracts ethanol-induced rats observing parameters number peptic ulcers, protection ratio, images histopathology. research method was make which were given six treatment groups: normal without treatment; negative control group; positive sucralfate; three groups extract with dose 100, 200, 400 mg/kgBW. Treatment done oral administration for 14 days. On Day 14, after one hour treatment, 96% ethanol induction orally at 2 ml/200 gBW except group. ulcer index produced control, doses 4.18; 2.98; 2.49; 1.64; 0.78, respectively. prevent damage induction.
